The Scientific and Innovation Committee

In a world where the boundaries between medicines and food supplements, and between cosmetics and nutraceuticals, are becoming more and more difficult to distinguish, where preventive and curative are both aspects of the same health protocol, the Management of AlgoSource felt the need to be reinforced and challenged by a Scientific and Innovation Committee.

This committee, made up of qualified national and international contributors, coming from different sectors related to microalgae and/or health, is responsible for advising the Senior Management in the orientations of the research and development policy and the scientific objectives of the company. It provides its expertise and support to assess or remove any scientific and/or technical obstacle that the company could face in implementing its strategy.

The Scientific & Innovation Committee is a laboratory of ideas at the service of the company’s vision. It fulfils its mission in a positive, critical and even disruptive spirit, to prepare for the future by exploring emerging scientific and technological fields. Its approach integrates the new modes of consumption and societal challenges that are likely to impact the business. It ensures that the company is as prepared as possible for these changes and trends, through its products, processes and services.
